Hi Brittani,

So I was looking at your blog site and saw your favorite deodorant recipe, just baking soda and lotion. I have to ask: does it last all day?

I’ve been toying around with different ones and keep finding that unless i apply it and then let it “soak in” before I get dressed, often it will end up quitting working. I wonder if this would work better? Any thoughts? I’ve been using one lately from Super Supplements, one of the closer-to-natural ones I guess, but I’d like something that WORKS and doesn’t wear off halfway thru my workday (and I sit at a desk…so it’s not like I’m working out or anything…)

I also forwarded your blog link to a friend who is vegan, as I saw you had some vegan recipes there. I thought she might enjoy trying new food :-)

Thanks! :-)

I think that since it’s getting warmer here I will be experimenting more. I put it on right before I do yoga or go for a hike and don’t seem to have any issues with smell. One thing to note is that with these recipes they are not an antiperspirant so you will sweat you just won’t stink! I have another one on there http://mbnaturalliving.com/?p=53 I would encourage you to try them and see if you are happy with the results.

Thank you so much for forwarding my blog to your friend. All of my recipes are vegan!

I think your concern will hit home with a lot of my readers.

Thank you,

I also commented on your blog about compassion in world farming. I do eat meat, and that’s why I intend to buy land (hopefully soon!) where I can raise my own chickens. I get into my reasons on the comment and I hope that people who follow your blog, can learn something from my posting about how to tell whether a whole chicken they just bought, is healthy or not.

I am fine with deodorants rather than antiperspirants. Our bodies are meant to sweat! I tend to have a very narrow temperature window so I tend to sweat – I just don’t want to stink while I do it! :-)

Thanks! I keep finding new cool stuff on your site. Will have to browse more :-)

I just read and approved your comment and was about to respond. I think it’s important for those who do eat meat to know how to tell if what they are eating is healthy. That’s why I wrote that article. I don’t feel it is my job to preach to people, judge nor convert them. I simply give information and allow others to make their own decisions.

Yes, we are supposed to sweat! Not everyone knows this. I know what you mean and feel the same way. My recipes have kept me from stinking and I sweat a lot!

I hope you keep browsing and keep giving me feedback.
